As an abstract painter, I delve into the essence of human emotion through a minimalist lens, creating works that evoke intimacy from a dialogue between restraint and expression. Using oil paints and collage techniques, I build layered compositions that are as much about what lies beneath as what is visible. Each piece serves as an archaeological excavation of the personal, where layers reveal the accumulation of memory, time, and perception, subtly unfolding on each canvas as a narrative of both the seen and the hidden.
The interplay of stencils and cut paper introduces a tactile quality, while the paintings themselves become palimpsests—traces of past gestures, stories, and marks. Within these layers, I invite viewers to engage with the tension between permanence and erasure. The surfaces thus echo the disappearance of the analog world, embracing the imperfections and rawness of a handmade process and creating a sanctuary for reflection.
